A Disturbance in the Field

The Earth’s magnetic field appears to be shifting and geologists don’t know why.

Like most spinning systems, such as stars and planets, the Earth’s magnetic field is assumed to be generated through the motion of electrically conducting fluids – such as a liquid iron core as is thought to be the case for the Earth. All being well, in a perfect idealized ‘physics’ world, the magnetic field would align with the axis of spin. However, the reality is that the Earth’s magnetic field is aligned at an 11-degree angle to the spin axis, hovering somewhere over Canada. The exact location is variable and over the last 180 years the magnetic north pole has been migrating northwestward with movements of up to 25 miles per year.

Studies suggest that mindfulness practices may help people manage stress, cope better with serious illness and reduce anxiety and depression. Many people who practice mindfulness report an increased ability to relax, a greater enthusiasm for life and improved self-esteem.

Meditation, or mindfulness practices, have become a well-accepted way within conventional medicine to maintain mental and physical health. In a medical establishment that generally relies on drugs to combat health problems new insights into the physical and mental health benefits of mindfulness have now been gleamed from many scientific studies.

The Casimir Torque validated experimentally for the first time

The Casimir effect, responsible for the attraction of two neutral metallic plates separated 1 micron apart, is one of the most outstanding features of the vacuum influence on the macroscopic world, and has been discussed in former articles. The effect has been measured in a variety of experimental setups, but this is the first time its associated torque has been verified experimentally. The so-called Casimir torque, predicted more than 40 years ago, is a mechanical torque between two optically anisotropic materials, and depends on the electromagnetic fluctuations (EM) of the vacuum -known as vacuum fluctuations- as well as on the dielectric function of the materials, which describes the capacity of an internal charge reorganization property within the material. Unusual Seismic Phenomenon Heard Around the World

A “Mystery Signal” puzzles seismologists, as it was unprecedented in the records. In a National Geographic Article from 28th Nov. 2018 a couple of seismologic Experts discussed a global Phenomenon on 11th Nov 2018 just before 9:30(UT), that has emerged from the ancient African seismic activity zone at the Mayotte Islands located between Africa and the northern Tip of Madagascar. It was first discovered and posted on Twitter by an earthquake enthusiast with the handle @matarikipax, who was monitoring U.S. Geological Survey’s real-time seismogram displays.

A recent publication indicates Yoga-Music at bedtime enhances the hearts variability in beat to beat distances. The heart is not only pumping, but pulsing with fractal fluctuations. When we think about liquids, we think about one of the four known states of matter: gas, liquid, solid and plasma (charged or ionized gas). Light being massless, the words Liquid and Light put together seems at first like an oxymoron. But not so long ago, in 2013, a theorized similar situation predicted in 2007 and called “photonic molecule” was made artificially. New Mathematic Insight of the Shape of Wormholes

Identifying the shape of massive astronomical object is not a simple task. Even with recent observations of gravitational waves the mass and angular momentum of the object remain known with large uncertainty. Moreover, it exists exotic objects, as wormholes who can mimic the shape of black holes for example. The gravitational spectrum of wormholes has a wide range of interpretations. A current challenge addressed by researcher R. A. Konoplya consists of mathematically describing wormholes in order to be able to eventually identify them in the space.

Scientists Show That Water Has Memory

A new groundbreaking discovery has been made within the most basic of resources. Scientists have just discovered what they have called “The Discovery of The Millennium”, and a huge revelation in human consciousness.

Scientists from Germany now believe that water has a memory, meaning that what once was seen as a simple commodity has now been closely examined to reveal a scientific revelation, uncovering a mind-blowing truth.

Where There is Black, There is White?

This could be the first time you have heard about a white hole (WH). Meanwhile, we have been hearing for quite some time about “black holes” (BH) as regions in outer space where nothing — not even light — could escape. Such cosmological entities, roughly represented by a singularity or point of infinite energy/mass/information density and an event horizon defining the “size” of the BH, are increasingly subjects of study. In addition, the possibility of detecting gravitational signatures as the ones detected two years ago, coming allegedly from the collision and merging of two black holes, have increased their interest even more. So, what about WH?

Surprising Hidden Order Unites Prime Numbers and Crystal-Like Materials

The seemingly random digits known as prime numbers are not nearly as scattershot as previously thought. A new analysis by Princeton University researchers has uncovered patterns in primes that are similar to those found in the positions of atoms inside certain crystal-like materials.

The researchers found a surprising similarity between the sequence of primes over long stretches of the number line and the pattern that results from shining X-rays on a material to reveal the inner arrangement of its atoms. The analysis could lead to predicting primes with high accuracy, said the researchers. The study was published Sept. 5 in the Journal of Statistical Mechanics: Theory and Experiment.
